Tuloso-Midway ISD board approves probationary contracts for 2025'1026 school year

The Tuloso-Midway Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved multiple probationary employment contracts for the 2025'1026 school year during a special called meeting on July 10, 2025.
It is the Administration's recommendation that the board issue an Educator Probationary Contract for the 2025-2026 school year as presented. The administration similarly recommended issuance of Educator Dual Probationary Contracts and Administrative Probationary Contracts. On motions made and seconded, the board approved each recommendation with a recorded vote of 4-0.
The motion to issue Educator Probationary Contracts was moved by Leo Gonzalez and seconded by Kim Boone; the motion to issue Educator Dual Probationary Contracts was moved by Kim Boone and seconded by Leo Gonzalez. The motion to issue Administrative Probationary Contracts was moved by Brian Boone and seconded by Kim Boone. Each motion carried by a 4-0 vote.
The actions follow the board's reconvening from a closed session during which personnel matters, including educator and administrative contracts and employment reassignments, were discussed. The board recorded the reconvene time as 6:20 p.m. and the meeting adjourned at 6:22 p.m.
Board members present were listed in the meeting minutes as Paul Arriaga, Leo Gonzalez, Brian Boone and Kim Boone. The district set its next regular board meeting for July 21, 2025.
