Uintah City staff and elected officials convened a non-voting staff meeting at 1:00 p.m. on Jan. 5 to review routine municipal operations, Mayor Cutler said. Attendees included the mayor, three council members, department staff and representatives from public safety and public works.
The agenda covered a long list of recurring topics — from water and storm drains to building inspections and cemetery care. Staff discussed recent follow-ups on pressure-reducing valves, a missing stop sign on Combe Road, cemetery clean-up work and an outstanding question about CC&R compliance for a building permit. City Recorder Michelle Mortensen said audit materials have been submitted and that, in her words, "progress is being made on the audit," with completion expected soon. The meeting ended at 1:29 p.m.
