"This resolution gives the town authorization to receive loan assistance from South Carolina Road Infrastructure Authority for our [reporting] study program," a staff presenter said, adding the lending would help cover those costs and that assistance would be "up to about $82,000." The council moved, seconded and approved the resolution by voice vote; no roll-call tally was recorded on the public transcript.
Council members did not expand debate on the record; the resolution passed in the meeting as presented and staff was directed to execute the loan-assistance agreement and other matters relating thereto.
