Committee gets project updates: hotel plat, Rosewood ground‑breaking, Broward Health permit work

Dave Dixon told the committee the hotel final plat cleared first reading and is scheduled for final/second reading on Jan. 14 as the last entitlement step. "The hotel final plat... is gonna be final its approval or final 2nd reading of commission... on January 14," Dixon said.
Dixon also reported the Rosewood residences in Hillsborough Beach recently broke ground and Broward Health will soon submit a full building permit set for its project. The committee briefly discussed competition for medical-supply capacity and timing among nearby projects and received no motions tied to any specific development during the update.
