Temple ISD recognizes students for BPA, HOSA, UTI and Bonham Middle math team accomplishments

Temple Independent School District recognized several student achievements during the Feb. 10 board meeting. Temple High School’s Business Professionals of America team had seven members qualify for state competition and eight alternates; Temple High’s Future Health Professionals (HOSA) had one state qualifier and two alternates. Temple High’s Automotive and Welding teams had three members place in an Austin competition. Bonham Middle School’s Deaf and Hard of Hearing Math Team placed sixth in its competition — the first time the school fielded a team in that event.
The recognitions were presented as part of the superintendent’s recognitions section of the agenda. The minutes list the outcomes and counts but do not include the students’ names or event dates beyond the general competition references.
