The Valley View ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved Consent Agenda items A–F at its June 23, 2025 meeting, approving minutes, recommended TASB (LOCAL) policy updates, interlocal agreements for dual-credit programs, an MOU with UT San Antonio, multiple purchases exceeding $10,000, and a staff development trip.
The minutes list specific policy updates from TASB Policy Service Update 125 (including BDAA, BDB, BDF, EI, FDE, FEC and FFAC) and note interlocal agreements with South Texas College for Dual Credit, PTECH and ECHS programs and a 2025–2030 MOU with UT San Antonio for the Early Birds Dual Credit Program. The consent agenda also included a renewal of student athletic and catastrophic coverage for an annual premium of $108,242.50 and a purchase of The 7 Mindsets and BASE SEL Curriculum for approximately $25,050.00. "A motion was made by Claudia Coronado and second by Jaime Gaona to approve all Consent Agenda items A-F, as recommended by the administration. Motion carries unanimously," the minutes record.
