Board President Claudia Coronado and the Valley View ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the district’s 2025–26 budget on June 23, 2025, following a public hearing in which no members of the public spoke. Finance Director Sandra Martinez presented the proposed budget for the General Fund, Child Nutrition Fund and Debt Service Fund before the board moved to a vote.
"A motion was made by Claudia Coronado and second by Jaime Gaona to approve the District Budget for General Funds, Child Nutrition Fund and Debt Service Fund for the 2025–2026 school year; Motion carries unanimously," the minutes state. The board opened the public hearing at 6:42 PM and closed it at 6:50 PM with no public participation recorded.
