Board approves audit firm, sets June 23 public hearing on budget and tax rate

The board approved Cascos & Associates, PC to conduct the district audit for the year ending June 30, 2025. Finance Director Sandra Martinez presented the recommendation and the board approved the engagement unanimously. The board also designated June 23, 2025 as the public hearing date for the proposed 2025–26 budget and tax rate.
In the same block of administrative actions the board approved a resolution extending the depository contract for district funds and designated recommended courses exempt from UIL No Pass No Play rules. The Workday calendar update for the 2025–26 school year and a revision to board policy CNB Local were also approved as presented by administration.
