Water Superintendent Ronnie Gittings updated the Village of Stronghurst board that the village is hauling water about three to four days per week and is keeping up with demand since acquiring its own hauling equipment. He said that having local equipment has improved flexibility and scheduling for hauling operations.
Gittings reported that the Bac-T test passed, enabling the village to remain off a boil order while hauling provided samples are sent every other week. He also said the storage tank test passed and the tank is available for use when needed. Separately, the minutes record that Brockte has drilled the village's new well and will continue required testing; samples have been submitted for analysis.
