On Jan. 29 the Troy ISD Board of Trustees approved its consent agenda, which included minutes from prior meetings, revenue and expenditure reports, athletic and tax receipts, and a resolution supporting a grant application to the Texas Criminal Justice Division's Truancy Prevention/Intervention Program. Trustee Carrie Trees moved to approve the consent agenda; Trustee Bill Negron seconded and the motion passed 6–0.
Consent items also included an order calling for a school trustee election, approval of library material acquisition, and a change in the regular monthly meeting date to March 23. The meeting record lists the consent items in the motion: "a. Minutes of the December 15th and January 15th meetings b. Revenue/Expenditure reports C. Athletic and Tax receipts d. Resolution in support of the grant application to the Texas Criminal Justice Division's Truancy Prevention/Intervention Program e. Order calling for school trustee election f.
