Commissioners add prosecution contract and Georgia Power easement to consent agenda

During the Aug. 6 meeting the Glynn County Board of Commissioners voted to add two items to the consent agenda: (1) a prosecutorial-services agreement with Coastal Law Group LLC to supply prosecutorial services for Glynn County juvenile court for the period 07/01/2026 through 06/30/2027, and (2) an underground easement to Georgia Power Company for installation and maintenance of electrical distribution lines and related facilities on county-owned property at 255 Aviation Parkway (Brunswick Airport Firehouse). Both additions were moved, seconded and approved unanimously.
A commissioner read the terms of the prosecutorial agreement, saying the contract would provide "prosecutor services for Glynn County juvenile court for the period of 07/01/2026 through 06/30/2027." The easement motion described approval of an underground easement for Georgia Power for electrical distribution lines and authorized the chairman to execute the easement.
Both items were added to the published consent agenda and were subsequently included in the approved consent agenda with no items pulled by commissioners.
