WALLER ISD unveils new mascots for several elementary campuses amid district growth

District leaders presented campus-specific mascots for Fields Store, Jones, Roberts Road, Turlington and Cure elementaries; Holleman Elementary will remain the Bulldogs as the district prepares for new construction.
Deputy Superintendent Angie Davis, Chief Communications Officer Sarah Marcus and Multimedia Manager Josh Originales presented a plan to give each elementary campus its own mascot and brand identity to reflect district growth. The presentation noted construction is underway on Warren Ranch High School (High School No. 2) and that most campuses participated in the branding process.
The new mascots listed in the presentation are Fields Store Elementary Falcons, Jones Elementary Jaguars, Roberts Road Elementary Roadrunners, Turlington Elementary Tigers and the new Cure Elementary Coyotes. Holleman Elementary, the district's original elementary, will remain the Bulldogs. Staff said campuses provided input on the new identities; the board was provided materials for later review.
