City Administrator Adam Jasinski said the replacement work will address recurring failures and that the project scope includes repaving Kiowa Lane after the water main is replaced. Alderman McGrogan moved to solicit bids and Alderman Key seconded; the motion passed on a voice vote.
No firm schedule or estimated construction cost was provided in the committee minutes. The authorization begins the formal procurement process; staff will return with bid results and a recommendation once offers are received and evaluated.
