"Our budget for the preapproved plan sets is 72,000," Anne said, noting that split across plan sets that could represent about $24,000 per plan if divided by three. She suggested charging a nominal fee (committee discussion ranged from $100 to $400) and asked whether any collected fees should be recirculated into the ADU program or flow to the general fund to support related staffing.
Members expressed a preference for recirculating funds to sustain the program if possible; Anne said she will run sustainability scenarios and report back so the committee can decide whether to charge for plans and where fees should be directed.
