Palos Heights’ Water and Sewer Committee voted March 24 to approve Payment Nos. 1 and 2 to Performance Pipeline, Inc. for $168,139.69 as part of the city’s multi‑year sanitary sewer and manhole rehabilitation program.
City Administrator Adam Jasinski reported the initiative is in year four of a five‑year plan focused on manhole and sanitary sewer repairs in the Navajo Hills neighborhood. The motion to approve the payments was made by Chairman Brennan and seconded by Alderman Key and passed by voice vote.
The committee separately approved payment to RJN Group for engineering services totaling $23,294.88 for 2025 sanitary sewer rehabilitation work and 2026 on‑call services, with RJN noted as responsible for construction oversight on the project. Committee members also approved Seeco Consultants’ geotechnical investigation and Strand Associates’ services for related CIPP lining work, indicating multiple contracted firms are engaged in the rehabilitation scope.
No objections or requests to delay payment were recorded in the minutes. The approvals clear contractor invoices and maintain the project schedule, according to staff remarks recorded in the committee minutes.
