The Planning Commission opened and closed routine business on Aug. 5: the consent calendar including minutes was approved, the commission welcomed a new planner, Cody Whitney, and staff noted the next meeting will include elections for chair and vice-chair.
Cameron (clerk) outlined public participation procedures and confirmed no public speakers registered during the public-comment period. During business, a staff member introduced Cody Whitney as a new planner on the team and commissioners welcomed the hire. Staff also announced that the next regular meeting (Aug. 18/19) will include voting for chair and vice-chair. The commission adjourned at approximately 6:45 p.m.
