On April 28 the council adopted five consent resolutions (L–P) by a single motion and roll call 5–0. The resolutions include: awarding a contract to D.H. Pace Company, Inc. for exterior service doors at the Public Works facility in the amount of $29,898.00; awarding a contract to United Door and Dock LLC. for three overhead garage doors and openers in the amount of $29,155.00; approving an updated intergovernmental agreement to continue membership in the Illinois Public Works Mutual Aid Network (IPWMAN); approving the purchase of two 2026 Chevrolet Equinox electric vehicles from Currie Motors in the total amount of $68,406.00; and authorizing the third year of the construction contract with Hoerr Construction, Inc. for the 2026 Sanitary Sewer CIPP Lining Project in a not-to-exceed amount of $550,536.48.
The council voted unanimously to adopt the resolutions as presented. The EV purchase and the sewer lining authorization are the largest dollar items in the consent packet: the EVs total $68,406.00 and the sewer lining project authorization is listed as a not-to-exceed $550,536.48. Purchasing and public-works staff will proceed under the approved contracts and will follow any further reporting or procurement steps required by city policy.
