The commission reviewed a suite of definitional and editorial changes spread across Article I (Definitions) and other pages of Chapter 32. Items flagged for consolidation or revision included combining Dwelling, Dwelling Multi-Family, Dwelling Single-Family and Dwelling Two-Family definitions (pages 5 and 15); removing the word "retail" from the Home Occupation definition; adding the phrase "Meet current locally adopted codes." to Outdoor Storage; inserting "architect" into the As-built Drawings definition and creating a separate definition for As-built Survey.
Commissioners also asked for clarifications on Floor Area, Gross Floor Area, Floor Area Ratio and Height (change wording from "element" to "segment" and remove the word "building"), and instructed Mayor Buckley to follow up with consultant B. Hupp on the Development definition and floor-area terminology. No final changes were adopted at this meeting; staff will return revised draft language.
