Winona ISD board approves batch of hires and accepts multiple resignations

Following an executive session, the Winona ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve a slate of new hires and to accept several resignations. The board approved hiring Pamela Green; Elizabeth Fairchild; Shirley James; Charquethia Wallace; Stephanie (Brooke) Nicolls; Delaina Davidson; Jessica Yarina; Lakasha Peterson; Tykeryn White; Jerry Foley; Lauri Wallace; Lisa Lancaster; Cynthia Upchurch; Dylana Rider; Gloria Davis; Emily Calderon; Dez' Miana Hampton; Dianne Elliott; and Cody Hageman. The motion to approve hires was made by Dexter Jones and seconded by Aaron Wilson.
The board also accepted resignations from Glenda Hayley; Timothy Esquell; Kristi Hodges; Nicole Hunter; Samantha Gorman; Jonas Perez; Alyssa Akau; Tracy Davis; Tanner Moseley; Alondra Castillo-Solis; and Lauri Wallace. Board President Mark Wintters presided over the reconvened session; the minutes record the vote on these personnel actions as unanimous.
