Citizens Oversight Committee reports Measure G spending consistent with ballot measure

Irene Salazar, chair of the Measure G Citizens Oversight Committee, presented the committee’s annual report for the period ending June 30, 2025, and summarized the program budgets for Measure G phases. Salazar reported phase budgets of $69,250,000 (Phase 1a), $60,000,000 (Phase 1b), $80,545,000 (Phase 1c), and $40,000,000 (Phase 1d), and said total program expenditures as of June 30, 2025, were $24,237,980.
Salazar told the board the COC is satisfied that expenditures are consistent with the measure and with Article XII A, Section 1(b) of the California Constitution, and attached meeting minutes and expenditure reports to the submitted document. Boardmembers asked how many meetings the COC held (Salazar said "3 or 4") and accepted the report with no further action at the meeting.
