The city attorney presented an item explaining an implementation error that left a 2019 settlement's terms unreflected in the permitting system. As a result, developer Pulte paid the full impact fees for certain permits; the council approved reimbursing Pulte only for the road-improvement portion of those fees.
City Attorney Derek explained the settlement capped units and treated certain corridor improvements as in-kind or otherwise different, and that permitting and fee allocation errors required the limited reimbursement. The council moved and seconded the reimbursement motion and approved it by roll call.
