The District Clerk announced the results of the Board of Education election: Kathleen M. Lynch received 589 votes and Molly Kendall received 558 votes; write-in votes were recorded for multiple community members. Jacqueline Dunning declared Lynch and Kendall duly elected to three-year terms running July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028.
At the Board meeting that followed the election returns, a motion by Margaret Colligan, seconded by Karina Montalvo, to accept the results was carried unanimously. The Board unanimously approved hiring Mallory Clark as a Teacher Aide effective June 1, 2025, at a daily rate of $131.83 (Step 1 of the 2024–25 teacher aide salary scale), approved an intermunicipal agreement with East Hampton Union Free School District for summer transportation services (July 7–Aug 15, 2025), and discharged the inspectors of election. The meeting was adjourned at 9:48 pm.
