Board approves finance reports, budget transfers and $2M tax-anticipation note authorization

On May 12 the Board accepted standard March financial reports (Treasurer, Extra Class, Appropriation and Revenue Status) and approved budget transfers and journal entries for April 2 ' May 5, 2025. The Board unanimously adopted a Tax Anticipation Note (TAN) resolution authorizing issuance of up to $2,000,000 in TANs in anticipation of tax receipts for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026.
The Board also approved a contract with Family Service League, Inc. for student services (term July 1, 2025 ' June 30, 2026) and approved an agreement with Suffolk County Department of Health Services to designate the school as a mass dispensing site for public-health emergencies (retroactive Jan. 1, 2025 ' Dec. 31, 2029). Board members carried the motions unanimously.
