The Board's notice says the law will take effect upon Secretary of State filing.
The resolution was introduced by Councilmember Elizabeth Hanley and seconded by Deputy Supervisor Margaret Larsen; the minutes record the resolution as adopted and direct the Town Clerk to publish the notice of public hearing. The Board's draft also includes updated penalties and a requirement that officers and employees periodically attest that they have reviewed the Code.
