District presents $1.6 billion facilities master plan and prioritization roadmap

LPA and the district shared a high‑level cost estimate produced by HL Construction Management: "a grand total of pretty close to $1,600,000,000" in 2026 dollars for the full set of proposed projects, the presenters said. Consultants emphasized that the total is a planning figure intended to guide prioritization; they recommended staged work, use of state matching programs (Prop 2 / School Facilities Program) and a potential bond or other funding mixes rather than attempting to execute every item at once.
