Forebay Committee readies Adventure Days booth, plans outreach and activities

Payson’s Forebay Committee on May 19 finalized plans to staff a booth at the city’s Adventure Days celebration on June 13. Bridgette Cheever proposed setting up at site #8 near the pavilion and will circulate a sign-up list for committee volunteers to staff shifts.
Recreation Director Karl Teemant said the city would provide a canopy and that he could bring "Every Kid Outdoors" passports that promote outdoor activity. The committee discussed booth logistics — two to three tables, chairs, a large Forebay trail map, conservation easement posters on easels, activity maps and a QR code for digital maps. Karl, Art Troyer and Councilmember Ryan Rowley volunteered to help with morning setup; Adam Cowie will take the first shift.
