The Commission reviewed the ANJEC (Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions) conference scheduled for Friday, Sept. 25 at Rutgers, New Brunswick, including registration ($150 per person) and membership cost ($475 for the calendar year). With a $500 EC budget and no prorata membership option, the Commission reached consensus not to join ANJEC for the remainder of 2026 and to revisit membership for 2027.
Motion (Lenny Clifford) to proceed with attendance at the ANJEC conference for up to four members, subject to Township Committee funding, was seconded by Michelle St. Andre and approved by unanimous vote. Tara Mezzanotte will confirm interested members’ availability and request Township Committee funding for registration (up to four attendees) at the next Township Committee meeting.
