The Commission discussed expanding a proposed tire-recycling effort into a broader Township Recycling Initiative. Discussion included reviewing and updating recycling content on the Township website (as requested by Committeewoman Starrs), establishing the Township's baseline recycling tonnage (which Warren County Recycling Coordinator Dave Deck said generates a financial credit), and raising concerns with Sanico about recyclables collected with garbage.
Lenny Clifford will follow up with 'Frank' regarding the farmers' board as a potential partner. The Recycling Initiative was tabled to the August meeting to determine who will lead the effort and to consider inviting Dave Deck to present to the Commission.
