Shelter Island board to return a revised budget to voters after failed proposal

The presentation flagged personnel reductions required under a lower budget, and administrators said they had already met with faculty and staff to review options. The board urged residents to attend the June meetings to ask questions and consider the tradeoffs between services and the tax cap.
