The Barrow County Board of Commissioners approved a request Feb. 25 to transfer 30,000 gallons of reserved sewer treatment capacity from RMB Remington LLC to Century Communities of Georgia LLC to serve a development parcel.
County utility staff told the board that RB Greenbinton LLC had purchased reserve capacity on April 8, 2024 in the amount of 30,000 gallons for the parcel in question, and that the developer now requests that capacity be transferred to Century Communities as part of the property's sale. The board voted to approve the transfer and authorized the chairman to sign the related paperwork.
No public speakers addressed this item during the meeting. Staff did not present a requested fee change in this meeting; approvals were administrative and aimed at allowing the new developer to move forward with infrastructure planning.
