The farmers market launches the same day (9:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.) and has been approved for EBT/SNAP. Kristy Romanowski obtained a free EBT card machine for the Washington BID and ordered wooden tokens that vendors will accept and be reimbursed weekly. The market is enrolled in the Good Food Bucks program, which provides $10,000 in matching funds for EBT purchases and $500 for advertising.
