Planting at Veterans' Park in Borough of Washington Completed; Green Team to Maintain

Craig Fleming of the Musconetcong Watershed Association created a planting design for Veterans' Park, and the planting work has been completed. The project was funded by the Washington BID and coordinated by Kristy Romanowski, WBID Executive Director; the Green Team agreed to assist with watering and ongoing maintenance.
The minutes note the park upgrades make Veterans' Park eligible for community wildlife habitat certification once a water source is added. Green Team members present who will help with upkeep include Josephine Noone and Chair Gary Pohorely.
