Principal and superintendent report: staff hires, schedules, meal-charging and audits

Principal Joshua Zahl reported that elementary music teachers have been hired, that staff prepared schedules, crisis teams and PBIS expectations for the school year and that in-service week supported teacher collaboration. He also noted coordination with Neillsville regarding grades 7–12 music and praised open house attendance.
Superintendent Nancy Popp welcomed staff and students back, summarized new hires, explained the continued practice of combining 5th and 6th grades for transitional support, noted the district had returned to charging for school meals and that the food-service department held a tasting during open house. Popp also reported the district is currently undergoing its annual audit.
