At the March 31 work session the Flambeau School District Board proposed several noninstructional policy changes affecting facilities and transportation. The board recommended amending financial controls so fundraising money is kept in a safe rather than stored in classrooms, proposed increasing the employee cost to replace a transferred key fob and adding a loss-of-fob penalty for transferring a fob to another person, and recommended removing the sentence that prohibited employee transportation of students in personal vehicles during school-sanctioned activities.
The minutes record these suggestions as draft edits to be incorporated into the handbook language; no formal roll-call votes adopting the edits are recorded in the work-session minutes. Staff will draft the specific replacement-cost figure and revised vehicle-operator language for future review.
