The board recommended amending financial controls so fundraising money is kept in a safe rather than stored in classrooms, proposed increasing the employee cost to replace a transferred key fob and adding a loss-of-fob penalty for transferring a fob to another person, and recommended removing the sentence that prohibited employee transportation of students in personal vehicles during school-sanctioned activities.
The minutes record these suggestions as draft edits to be incorporated into the handbook language; no formal roll-call votes adopting the edits are recorded in the work-session minutes. Staff will draft the specific replacement-cost figure and revised vehicle-operator language for future review.
