The board approved several business items for 2025–26 at the July 14 meeting. Contracts included educational consulting, student-services arrangements with Southampton UFSD, an intermunicipal shared-services agreement with Sag Harbor UFSD for transition coordination and special-education teaching services at a cost of $27,854.38, and approval of an Aramark food-services agreement. The board authorized extension of athletic transportation contracts with Sunrise Bus for bus service at $107.41 per hour (estimated $50,841/year) and van service at $84.82 per hour (estimated $16,390/year).
The board amended prior approval of private-school transportation to increase the total number of students from 31 to 32 across listed private schools. Asked whether an additional private-school bus would be needed, Director Todd Gulluscio explained that the district’s student counts are split across North Fork and South Fork routes and "there is still plenty of room on each bus." The board also accepted a $500 donation from Long Island Gay & Lesbian Youth, Inc. for the Unity Club and increased the indicated budget line by that amount.
