Assistant superintendent: district received no Title I or Title IV funds for 2025–26

Assistant Superintendent Jennifer Rylott reported to the board that she and Guidance Counselor Alyssa Prior are finalizing year-end reports for the state report card and preparing to apply for grant funding once allocations are released. She told the board, "we did not receive any Title I funds (these funds provide all children significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education and to close achievement gaps among groups of students) or Title IV funds (this is a Federal program that provides supplemental funding to help provide students with a well-rounded education, improve school conditions and improve the use of technology)."

Rylott said the lack of Title I and Title IV allocations will affect planning for supplemental programs and technology supports; she is awaiting further guidance and grant releases before submitting district applications for 2025–26.
