The commission voted to recommend approval of a variance request under UDC §89-127 to allow metal siding for a proposed new single-family residence at the property listed in the packet (48 Beach Creek). Staff recommended approval with three conditions; commissioners approved the motion and will forward the recommendation to the County Commission for final action on March 11.
Applicant Luke Seifull told the commission he is building a retirement home and said metal siding and roofing would reduce maintenance and cost. Commissioners reviewed submitted images and materials and concluded the requested variance, with the staff conditions, was acceptable for the project as presented.
