The Granite School District Board of Education voted to adjourn into an Executive Session at 5:34 p.m. "I move we adjourn to an Executive Session for the purposes of character and competence and negotiations," moved Karyn Winder. President Nicole McDermott called for the voice vote and the board recessed.
The board reconvened the public meeting later that evening after adjourning the Executive Session and taking a dinner break. The board voted to close the Executive Session at 6:20 p.m.; the minutes record the motion as passing unanimously when called by President McDermott.
