One committee presenter said the subcommittee on immigration communication recommended shifting away from informal WhatsApp groups toward RingCentral, which preserves recipient privacy and offers reply-all controls, and suggested a tiered communication plan to distinguish urgent messages from routine notices. On inclusion and racial-slur issues, staff described an inclusion audit, field-trip accessibility planning and proposed peer mentoring and "upstander" training to reduce incidents and provide support for affected students.
Trustees praised the concentrated approach and urged continued focus on data and broader family engagement.
