Student speakers described counseling visits and tours that increased preparedness and comfort about high-school choices. "They also came in and explained about the programs that they had and how it would benefit us with our futures," student Alejandra said, summarizing counselors' classroom visits. Principal Clement noted early matriculation results: participation in programs such as Marin School of the Arts and medical pathways increased markedly in the first year of the initiative.
Trustees praised the classroom demonstration and asked follow-up questions about scheduling and transportation; the presentation closed with a photo of students and trustees.
