McFarland board adopts package of policy updates on second reading

Motion by Megan Chatman, second by Meredith Hughey to approve the second reading and adoption of policies 0100 (Definitions); 0144.5 (Board Member Behavior, Communications, and Code of Conduct); 1210 (Board - District Administrator Relationship); 1230.01 (Development of Administrative Guidelines); 1240 (Evaluation of the District Administrator); 2131.01 (Reading Instructional Goals and Kindergarten Assessment); 5112 (Entrance Age); 5411 (Third Grade Promotion and Retention: At-Risk Students); 5515 (Student Use of Parking and Motor Vehicles); 3430 and 4430 (Long Term Leaves of Absence); and 8600 (Transportation). The motion carried 5-0.
