McFarland board approves 2026–27 certified staff salary schedule, nutrition cooperative resolutions and student transfers
Summary
The board unanimously approved the 2026–27 certified staff salary schedule, adopted the WI School Nutrition Purchasing Cooperative resolution and agreement, and approved recommended student transfers to resident districts due to lack of engagement. All motions passed 5-0.
On March 16, 2026 the McFarland School Board voted to approve the 2026–27 certified staff salary schedule as recommended by administration. The motion (moved by Megan Chatman, seconded by Craig Howery) passed 5-0.
The board also adopted the 2026–27 Wisconsin School Nutrition Purchasing Cooperative Resolution and approved the corresponding 66.0301 cooperative agreement on motions moved by Meredith Hughey and seconded by Megan Chatman; both votes carried 5-0. Finally, on a motion by Hughey, second by Chatman, the board approved recommended student transfers back to their resident districts from WIVA, Destinations Career Academy, and Insight School of Wisconsin because of lack of engagement. The motions are recorded as carried 5-0.
