I wanna encourage everyone to follow that policy and always double check the work and never use the never lose the human element," Rowley said. City leaders said the policy will guide staff use of AI tools and stress verification of AI-generated material before it is relied on for city decisions or public communications. No separate implementation timetable or enforcement details were announced at the meeting; councilors directed staff to follow the policy and to maintain human oversight of AI-assisted work.
