Brian Pincelli, Director of Economic Development & Planning, presented an out-of-state travel request for Springfield, Massachusetts and three transmittals related to an Imminent Threat Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application. The committee approved, by a 5-0 vote, (1) authorization to schedule a public hearing for the Imminent Threat CDBG application; (2) authorization to designate a certifying officer and declare the county's intention to be lead agent; and (3) authorization to submit a Savannah Fertilizer Imminent Threat CDBG grant application.
Pincelli also flagged that it is Small Business Week and said the department plans to issue a press release recognizing and supporting the county's small businesses. The approvals recorded a unanimous 5-0 tally; no abstentions or recusals were noted in the minutes.
