The Shelter Island Union Free School District Board of Education voted to enter an executive session at 5:04 p.m. on May 22, 2025, to discuss "the employment of particular individuals in the District," according to the meeting minutes. The motion to go into executive session was made by Tracy McCarthy and seconded by Margaret Colligan.
Members present at the meeting were President Kathleen Lynch, Katherine Rossi-Snook, Margaret Colligan, Tracy McCarthy, Karina Montalvo and Anthony J. Rando; Dawn Hedberg was recorded as absent. District staff listed as present included Dr. Brian Doelger, Superintendent; Jennifer Rylott, Assistant Superintendent; Todd Gulluscio, Director of Athletics, Physical Education, Health, Wellness & Personnel; and Jacqueline Dunning, District Clerk.
Later in the session, Anthony J. Rando moved to adjourn the meeting; Tracy McCarthy seconded the motion. The minutes record "Motion carried unanimously," and the meeting adjourned at 6:15 p.m. The minutes are signed by District Clerk Jacqueline Dunning. The next regular meeting of the Board of Education is scheduled for Monday, June 9, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Conference Room.
