Raymondville ISD board approves consent agenda including hires, MOUs and multiple vendor awards

Contracts and agreements approved in consent included a Memorandum of Understanding with UMOS, Inc., and a Memorandum of Understanding with the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Cameron and Willacy Counties. The board also approved a payment to Government Capital Corporation for $68,729.52 from General Fund 199.
The board awarded multiple RFPs as listed in the agenda: RFP #25-007 (General Merchandise, Services and School Related Products, annual bid), RFP #25-011 (semi-truck hauling services to Betty Jean Trucking and PC Transport Services), RFP #25-012 (bus and heavy equipment mechanic services to PC Transport Services), RFP #25-013 (General Construction Services to Circle R Electric and Air Conditioning, Solis Construction and Intertech Flooring), RFP #25-014 (Building Supplies and Materials to Alamo Lumber Company, InterTech Commercial Flooring, Hilti Inc., and Mark's Plumbing Parts), and RFP #25-015 (Special Education Services for Wil-Cam to Myra Ochoa, Ingris Campos-Raine, Noe Ramos, Janet Demro, Believe N Care Rehab and Santos Lerma). The agenda notes that awards are subject to the district’s needs and funding.
The consent approvals were recorded as unanimous: John L. Solis, Javier Longoria, Christie Ambriz, Veronica Munguia, Daniel Garcia Jr., Jaime Villarreal and Leticia T. Guzman voted yea.
