Board approves shared driveway agreement with Legacy Meats; county disclaims maintenance obligation

Staff said Legacy Meats will concrete its portion of the driveway and extend it onto county property to address seasonal washouts; the county attorney drafted the agreement and the property owner signed and notarized it.
Under the agreement, the county has no present or future obligation to contribute to costs of maintenance, repair or replacement of the shared driveway; staff told the board the county benefits from the improved surface at no cost.
A board member moved to approve the agreement and authorize the chair to sign; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote.
Action: approve shared driveway agreement for the Lamont shed and authorize chair signature.
