Superintendent Oscar Muf1iz recommended and the board approved a Piper Surveying proposal for a topographic survey of ponding at the Kermit High School softball field in the amount of $8,000. The board also approved an amendment to Parkhill's professional services agreement to add civil engineering supplemental services to design drainage improvements for the east side of the softball field.
Separately, trustees approved the Walton Field track lane striping color from the submitted renderings and color chart. All items were approved by recorded unanimous votes of the five members present; the approvals were characterized in the minutes as steps to address field drainage and finalize field-appearance decisions for the Proposition B project.
