Rockport launches 'In The Loop' newsletter; donors and volunteers praised

Rockport Public Schools rolled out a community newsletter called "In The Loop," which the committee said has already generated positive responses from residents and retired educators. Committee members and staff credited internal contributors, graphic designers and local advertisers for the production and said a second edition is planned for later in the spring.
Superintendent Mark Bridal listed recent donations and community supports: "Thank you to Barbara Sparks who donated a Roland electric piano to the music department; thank you to Rockport Rotary who sent in a check for $250 to support DECA; thank you to Bracketts Restaurant for sending in $350 to support DECA; and we had an anonymous donor who offered to pay off all unpaid student lunch and breakfast bills," he said. The committee thanked staff for editorial work and discussed postcard and outreach ideas to broaden readership, especially to older residents who may not read regular digital communications.
