The Goshen City Board of Public Safety on Aug. 6 authorized the mayor to execute an amendment extending the city's subscription agreement with LexisNexis, a division of RELX Inc., for access to Lexis+ through Dec. 31, 2027. The legal department said the subscription provides staff with the online research tools they rely on, and the board voted unanimously to approve the extension.
The legal department presented the recommendation that the amendment extend the current agreement for an additional one-year term through Dec. 31, 2027 and described Lexis+ as the licensed legal-research platform the staff uses. A board member moved to approve and the motion passed without public objection.
